It is a part of the company Bell Canada that offers satellite television services to the people living in the Canada. The Bell TV Installation took place in September 1997 and from 2004, it is providing the VDSL services in Toronto and Ottawa. The Bell television is one of the most famous television companies in the world.

Bell TV provides more than 500 digital high quality video channels and more than 100 high definition audio channels to their subscribers. There are many competitors of Bell TV that are Rogers, EASTLINK, Shaw communications, Videotron and TELUS. The Bell TV company got the EXPRESSVU and SYMPATICO in august 2008. The satellites that are used by the Bell TV Installation company are four in number. They are geostationary satellites. First one named NIMIQ 4iR is replaced with NIMIQ 4 now and it is a temporary satellite that is used in case of any problem. There is another satellite named NIMIQ 1. It was formed in 20th may 1999. The uplink site of Bell TV is in North York which is located in the Toronto area. The NIMIQ 2 was launched in 29 december2002 and it contains 32 K –band transponders. The NIMIQ 2 provides high definition TV, HDTV.

The new channels and the international programming are done by the NIMIQ 2. The NIMIQ 3 was formed in 23rd august 2004. It is basically called DirecTV3. If a satellite runs out of fuel, the other satellites take the place and do the offline and online work. On 28th April, 2007 the NIMIQ 4iR ran out of fuel and it was replaced later on. The satellites divide 32 channels depending upon the signals that are basically the transponders. A transponder has a bandwidth of almost 10 channels. The high definition TV requires larger bandwidths. The Bell TV provides 20 inches dishes to their customers. The Canadians who live in the territories and parts of British Columbia have to be transmitted larger dishes between 60 and 120 cm because they are used to compensate the weaker satellites signals that are also available in these regions. The Bell TV installation process requires larger dish from 18 to 20 inches. The 4100 is one of the basic Bell TV part. Its size is half of the size of the previous receivers and it also offers a coaxial and RCA output.
